Event Details

Après Avon, a free 12-day concert and street fair will be held from 2pm to 5:30pm every day after the races, February 3 through 14, 2015 at Avon’s Main Street Mall. The festivities feature live music, craft brews, cocktails, food and performance art, along with visits by the 2015 official mascots and cheerleaders, ski racing athlete signings, including a visit by Olympic Gold Medalist Mikaela Shiffrin, distribution of the coveted AWSC pins and other American-rooted activities.

National and regional powerhouse bands will showcase an eclectic mix of musical styles to keep the crowds moving. The audience will be treated to the soul rock of Nicki Bluhm performing with The Mother Hips, reggae from Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad, sonic funk by The Motet and the ever-popular all-female ACDC tribute band, Hell’s Belles, among others. Audi Driving Experience in Nottingham Park:

Audi will bring the excitement of its Winter Driving Experience to the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships in Vail and Beaver Creek, Colorado. From February 3-14, participants will have the opportunity to drive the Audi S3, Q3 and allroad and work with Audi instructors on mastering a variety of skills beneficial for driving during the winter months, and experience the power of quattro® all-wheel drive. The driving experience will be hosted in Nottingham Park in Avon, Colorado.

The driving experience program will also be the first event to use Avon’s Performance Pavilion in Nottingham Park. Drivers will be within walking distance of the Main Street Mall where Après Avon- a Street Fair of Music, Tastings, and Spontaneity will take place each evening after the races from 2:00-5:30 p.m. Click here for more information on the Audi Driving Experience…
