No need to worry about where to park your car at the 2015 World Championships. The free World Championships transportation system will take you to and from all of the 2015 events, no matter whether it’s in Vail, Avon or Beaver Creek. Free spectator buses will run every half hour between Vail, Avon and Beaver Creek daily, from 8 am until midnight, during the Championships. In addition to our event-specific services, a robust bus transportation system exists throughout the Vail Valley, from East Vail to Eagle. TOWN OF VAIL
The Town of Vail Transit Department provides free year-round bus service throughout Vail. In fact, the town’s bus service is considered to be the largest free transportation system in the country offering its residents and guests timely service to and from Vail Mountain and throughout town.
Beaver Creek buses depart throughout the day from the Elk Lot, Rodeo Lots, Avon and Vail providing spectators with options for viewing the races or experiencing Beaver Creek Village festivities from anywhere in the Vail Valley.
Town of Avon buses depart throughout the day from the Elk Lot, offering free transportation to amenities and lodging properties within the limits of Beaver Creek. A custom event transportation plan is also in place with multiple routes servicing Avon ensuring easy park-and-ride access to the Red Tail Stadium, Vail and Beaver Creek.
Additionally, regional bus service with modest fares is provided daily by ECO Transit with service to Vail, Leadville, Minturn, Eagle-Vail, Avon, Edwards, Eagle and Gypsum.
