HITCH A RIDE
We want to see the Locals’s at the races! On Tuesday, February 3 (Ladies’ Super G), Wednesday, February 4 (Men’s Super G) and Monday, February 9 (Ladies’ Alpine Combined) race days we would love to give you a ride to the races. We have two Turtle Buses secured to service Edwards and Eagle Vail. It’s free to ride, and will take you from Edwards and Eagle Vail/Avon directly to the Bear Lot or Elk Lot at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain where you can catch one of the official event buses (we recommend Parking Lots Route) to ski, hike or bus to Red Tail Stadium for race spectating.
Routes will run every 30 minutes and pick up spectators between 8am - 10am in Avon/Eagle Vail and Edwards. After a day of spectating at the races, the Turtle Buses will also pick you up at the Bear Lot or Elk Lot (Bear Lot for Edwards riders, Elk Lot for Eagle Vail riders) , between 4-6pm. We recommend you get to the races one hour before race start to secure the best seats and increased your chances of securing daily prizes and the Pin Of The Day!
