Beaver Creek Mountain has once again been a buzz of activity this summer as Phase II of the ladies’ speed course construction has been underway seemingly since the last snow melted from the racecourse.
Crews have been busy pulling old television cable off the men’s Birds of Prey course, while also finishing electrical, telecommunications and fiber connections on the ladies’ track.
At the end of July, 75 A-Net towers were helicoptered into place on the ladies’ course. The towers will support the 12 new A-Nets, which will account for approximately 2,500 meters of netting, some of it double.
