Construction on the Red Tail Stadium complex, the primary competition venue for the 2015 FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, is slated to begin on September 1.  The construction is scheduled to include the main stadium tribune, the International Broadcast Center and the two hospitality structures.

The Red Tail Stadium complex will be constructed by the U.S. branch of Swiss event specialists Nussli.  All four structures are anticipated to be completed and useable during the Audi Birds of Prey Men’s World Cup events in December.  The new Talons Restaurant, completed just prior to the 2013 test events, will once again house the primary Media Center.

The Red Tail Stadium complex will feature stadium seating and standing for approximately 7,500 spectators, both within the tribune and the designated spectator viewing areas on both side of the finish area.  Access to both the Red Tail and Golden Peak Stadiums for all World Championships races is free for all race fans.
